Yamaha Boats Make a Splash in 2012…

As usual, Bay Harbor Motors is proud to present to you this year’s Yamaha Jet Boats. So far it appears that the highlights are the 2012 Yamaha 242 Limited S, the 2012 Yamaha AR210, and the 2012 Yamaha SX190 available for the first time this year. Here’s just a simple breakdown of what we have in store for you today.

Every year Yamaha’s top of the line Jet Boat, the 242 Limited S, sells out faster than the manufacturer can produce them. This year, we can easily predict the same. Bay Harbor Motors, in just the first month of the year has already assigned a quarter of our inventory for this boat to customers. With all the features this boat offers, you won’t need a summer beach house because you can practically live on the water instead. For the comfort of you and your family, the 2012 Yamaha 242 Limited S has seating for 11 passengers, an integrated swim platform, storage compartments big enough to fit a porta-potty, satellite ready AM/FM radio, 8 premium marine speakers, a fresh water shower, and a stylish arch finished in black to accentuate this boat even more than last year.

As for the engines housed in the 2012 Yamaha 242 Limited S, you’ll find Twin 180hp 4-Stroke H.O. engines bringing you over 50mph at top speed. It’s the largest boat that Yamaha produces, and is available in two sharp colors this year, Black or Champagne so you can’t be missed when out on the water. This is a boat you can spot from a mile away, and you’ll need to because this speed demon will be under your nose within 2 minutes when coming your way.

If you’re the medium size type and don’t really want a 24ft boat, there’s a smaller yet equally as fun and luxurious. The 2012 Yamaha AR210 is a lovely option, available in black with an aluminum wakeboard tower. At three feet shorter than the 242 Limited S, the 2012 Yamaha AR210 seats 9 passengers with maximum comfort and of course has a swim platform, radio, speakers and many other features to enhance your experience on the water.

And if you’re looking for the most basic of Yamaha boats this year, we can far exceed your expectations with the 2012 Yamaha SX190 — debuting for the first time this year, this 19ft boat is ideal for boaters piloting alone or with the light company of upto 7 additional passengers. Yamaha’s SX models do not have an arch or wakeboard tower, however the AR models which mirror the SX models of similar class, do come with the arch. So if you love the 2012 Yamaha SX190 you may also want to check out the 2012 Yamaha AR190 for a slight upgrade.

Boat Show Season for Bay Harbor Motors…

Boat show season is upon us, and as it is every year, seeing our customers check out the new line ups of our Yamaha boats & Waverunners, Sea Doo boats & Personal Watercrafts and Kawasaki Jet Skis is always a pleasure. We would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation once again for all the love and support received from our customers. For years our loyal customers from all over the country, especially those from New York, have been coming out to see us at the shows to check out what’s new for the year. Just to recap what was featured at the show, here are some of the hot machines on the line up this year.

In Yamaha boats we saw the latest and most luxurious of Jet boats, the 2012 Yamaha 242 Limited S. This year, appropriately available in Gold, this boat really took things up a notch by accentuating the design with a black toned stainless steel foldable tower, and the boat itself is available in either a striking black with gold detail, or in a golden champagne color with black detail. As always this boat comes standard with over a dozen amenities that make this boat so plush. These features include a freshwater shower, Bimini top, snap in carpet, satellite-ready AM/FM stereo with iPod Player and a handheld floating remote just to name a few.

2012 Yamaha Waverunners turned heads as well with redesigned models such as the 2012 Yamaha VX Cruiser, 2012 Yamaha VX Deluxe and another popular model this year is the 2012 FX Cruiser SHO. All of which are three seaters, but a two seater is available as well, simply check out the 2012 Yamaha FZR.

In terms of what Sea Doo has in store for this year, we have in our showroom a beautiful 2012 Sea Doo GTI SE 130, the popular 2012 Sea Doo RXP-X 260 with 260 horsepower, and another machine with 260 horsepower is the 2012 Sea Doo RXT iS 260 which turned heads this year at the show. Also featured at the show were some of Sea Doo’s 2012 boats.

Most notably, the 2012 Sea Doo 230 Challenger SE available with either twin 155hp fuel injected engines, twin 215hp fuel injected supercharged engines or even twin 260hp fuel injected high output engines. This 23 foot boat is a blast on the water and can fit your family and friends comfortably for a day on the bay.

Last but not least, Bay Harbor Motors is always proud to display Kawasaki Jet Skis, and for this year we have the reinvented 2012 Kawasaki Ultra 300X. Last year this machine flew off the showroom, and this year we anticipate the same.
