Recently established Staten Island Suzuki, a branch of the
pioneering Kawasaki dealership, Bay Harbor Motors, has officially launched the
2012 Suzuki Line up of motorcycles and, for the first time ever, scooters. In
the past, Bay Harbor Motors has been limited to bikes, boats, watercrafts and
ATVs, but this year scooters are also on the market for the family owned
dealership.
Due to popular demand, Staten Island Suzuki didn’t hesitate
to carry scooters along with their newly acquired Suzuki product line. The
Suzuki Burgman comes in two models, the 650 Exec and the 400 with ABS.
The 2012 Suzuki Burgman 650 Exec sets the styling standard
this year with stunning aerodynamic bodywork. Suitable for both the streets and
highway, this scooter is comfortable, lightweight and agile featuring a passenger
backrest, Anti-lock Break System, a liquid-cooled 638cc 8-valve twin-cylinder
engine, and plenty of storage space. The 2012 Suzuki Burgman 400 ABS has a
slightly smaller engine, a 400cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel-injected
Suzuki engine but comes with the same comfort and performance.
In the bike line up, it’s a given that the Hayabusa is in
high demand; after all this beast comes standard with a whapping 1340cc in-line
4 cylinder fuel injected, liquid cooled engine with 16-valves and Twin Swirl
Combustion Chambers prompting phenomenal power, but the GSX-R1000 is another hot
bike to look at this year. For 2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000s have improved throttle
response, increased power & acceleration at mid-range engine speeds and
better fuel economy. Also this machine has reduced its weight by over four
pounds, an important factor for performance riders, by refining the chassis,
suspension, and breaking systems. Available in signature blue, and naturally,
black.
For the cruisers out there, Staten Island Suzuki puts on
display the 2012 Suzuki Boulevard. With engine sizes ranging from 650cc to
1783cc there’s a Boulevard for everyone. Featured at the top of the line, the
2012 Suzuki Boulevard M109R Limited Edition comes in a stunning new Metallic
Triton Blue and Glass Splash White color scheme and houses a giant 1783cc,
8-valve, 54 degree, liquid-cooled fuel injected V-Twin engine.
The smallest of the Suzuki cruisers is the 2012 Suzuki
Boulevard S40; housing a 652cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled four-stroke engine
this is still a big bike. It’s a sexy one too, available in Metallic Fox
Orange, or Pearl Mirage White and Metallic Veil Silver, all of which are
available now at Staten Island Kawasaki. So regardless of which Boulevard you
decide to roll on, your destination is just a smooth purchase away.
**Staten Island Suzuki offers sales, service, parts,
apparel, financing, insurance and registration.
